Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of 17-and-0.com and the 17-0 app (together, "17-0"), which are operated by Deep South Software LLC ("we", "us"). By using 17-0 you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site or app. If you use the iOS app, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and these terms add to it.
The game
17-0 is a free college football game and reference site. You can play without an account. We may add, change or remove features, and we may pause or end the service at any time.
Accounts and usernames
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. An account lets you save seasons and appear on the leaderboard. You're responsible for activity on your account. Usernames are public, so don't choose one that impersonates someone, is offensive or hateful, or includes someone else's personal information. We may rename or remove accounts that break these rules, and we may remove leaderboard scores that appear to come from cheating or automated play.
You can delete your account at any time. See the privacy policy for what we store and how to remove it.
Acceptable use
Don't:
- scrape or bulk-download the site or its data (search engines indexing pages for search results is fine);
- use bots or scripts to play, vote on ratings or submit suggestions;
- overload, probe or interfere with the site, its servers or its security measures;
- submit content that is unlawful, abusive, or spam.
Your submissions
When you send a suggestion, vote on a rating, or share a season, you let us use that submission to run and improve 17-0. For example, we may count your rating vote, show vote totals on a player's page, or display a shared season to anyone with its link.
Ratings and player information
Player ratings are 17-0's own estimates for a game, not official or objective measures of any player. Honors, statistics and draft information come from public sources such as Wikipedia and CollegeFootballData.com. We work to keep them accurate but can't guarantee they are complete or error-free. If you spot a mistake, please tell us.
17-0 is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the NCAA, the College Football Playoff, the NFL, any conference, school or player. Mentioning a school or player doesn't imply any affiliation or endorsement.
Our content
The 17-0 name, design, game, ratings, scouting reports and software belong to Deep South Software LLC. You may share links and screenshots of your teams and seasons. Please don't copy or republish the site or its rating data in bulk.
Advertising and links
17-0 is supported by ads, including ads from Google AdSense, and by optional tips. Ads and outside links lead to sites we don't control, and we aren't responsible for their content or practices. See the privacy policy for how advertising cookies work.
Disclaimers and liability
17-0 is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Deep South Software LLC isn't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of 17-0, and our total liability for any claim related to 17-0 is limited to $50.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use 17-0 after a change means you accept the updated terms.
