- What is 17-0?
- 17-0 is a free college football team-builder game. Spin for a program and an era, draft ten real players from 1990 to today, then simulate a full season and see if your super-team can finish a perfect 17-0.
- Why 17-0?
- A perfect run is 17 straight wins: 12 regular-season games, a conference championship game, then four rounds of the playoff.
- Which teams and players are in the game?
- 68 programs from the SEC, Big Ten, Big 12 and ACC, plus Notre Dame, using today's conference alignment. Each program's real players are split into five-year eras from 1990, plus a current 2025-present era.
- How are player ratings decided?
- Every player gets a 0-99 overall built from real college production, national awards and Heisman voting, all-conference honors and NFL draft position. Ratings are graded against each player's own era, so a 1995 star and a 2024 star compare straight up.
- What are the game modes?
- Easy lets you hand-pick your first player from the full pool. Hard makes every pick come from the wheel. Impossible hides every overall while you draft, gives you 3 scouts and no re-rolls. Conference Mode locks the wheel to a single league, and Era Mode to a single decade.
- Is 17-0 like 20-0?
- Yes. 17-0 is inspired by squad-building games like 20-0 for the NFL and 38-0 for the Premier League, rebuilt for college football with era-relative ratings and a playoff run.
- Is it free? Do I need an account?
- It's free to play in your browser with no account. Sign in only if you want to save seasons and climb the leaderboard.
